Responsibility for the experience ticket passes to you as the consumer at the time of receipt of the ticket.
Once you have paid for an experience, the experience ticket will always be sent to the email address provided. If you do not receive an email, you should first check whether our message has ended up in your spam folder or campaign folder. If it is not there, you can contact us directly for help.
Responsibility for the experience ticket passes to you as a consumer at the time you receive the ticket by email, and you should therefore check as soon as possible that the contents of the email and the experience ticket match the order and the order confirmation.
VAT
All prices on Sailstar are quoted in SEK and include VAT. The exception is experiences that, due to their content and nature, are exempt from VAT according to the rules of the VAT Act.
Experience Gift Card
Our gift cards are an amount gift card that can be used as a means of payment.
Our gift cards cannot be combined and must therefore be used individually. Please also note that discount codes cannot be used when purchasing gift cards.

Price and printing errors
We reserve the right to price and print errors on our website, social media, newsletters and other mailings by email, and reserve the right to cancel the order in the event of material and/or clear errors.
If you choose to cancel
For more than 7 days to the experience, you can rebook by contacting us directly. However, some experiences have special rules for rebooking, such as for overnight stays and experiences that require lengthy preparation, and there may therefore be some exceptions. This will be stated under Rules and Safety on the experience product page.
At less than 7 days until the experience, the experience cannot be rebooked. Please note that experiences often involve preparation that incur costs that must be covered, and therefore you cannot get your money back for the experience.
On the day: If something unforeseen occurs shortly before or on the day of the experience (such as illness), please contact the experience manager so that they know that you will not be attending. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Alternatively, you can transfer your ticket to someone else as a starting point.
Safety and good conditions are a top priority. Therefore, the weather can sometimes make it impossible to carry out the experience. Should this occur the experience manager will contact you to find a new date jointly.
If Sailstar chooses to set
Sailstar is of course doing everything we can to help you experience your experience. However, unforeseen events can occur, such as illness, weather and the like, where there is no choice but to cancel. If this happens, you will be contacted by the responsible person by phone/SMS and then by e-mail.
If Sailstar chooses to cancel due to too few notifications, errors in planning or the like, the cancellation must take place no later than 5 days before the start of the experience. Regardless of when the cancellation occurs, there should be alternative booking dates available and if this is not the case, you are entitled to have the money for your experience refunded.

Through our software provider Holdbar, we use SSL, and this means that your credit card information is processed encrypted.
If you pay by credit card, you are protected from misuse, as you can refuse a payment through your bank. In addition, you have no deductible if the credit card is misused in an online store that uses SSL. Sailstar uses SSL, and this means that your credit card information is processed encrypted.
Sailstar — terms and division of responsibilities
Participating in Sailstar's events means that you, as a participant, accept the following terms and conditions and take responsibility for your own safety and preparedness. We ask that you read these carefully before signing up.
Swimming Skills
The participant should be able to swim at least 200 meters in open water. The ability to swim is a basic safety requirement and must be met at the time of registration.
Liability Insurance
The participant must have the necessary liability insurance, for example through a home or villa insurance. The insurance shall cover damage that the participant may cause to third parties or their property during the arrangement.
State of Health and Fitness
The participant is responsible for assessing his/her own state of health and physical ability prior to participation. If you have any doubts, it is recommended to consult a doctor before signing up.
Equipment and safety on board
The participant is responsible for following the applicable safety procedures and instructions from the organizer and crew. Personal safety equipment, unless otherwise stated, is the participant's sole responsibility to provide.
Sailstars Disclaimer
Sailstar is not responsible for personal injuries, accidents, illness, loss or damage to property incurred in connection with the participant's participation in arranged activities. This applies regardless of whether the damage occurs at sea, in port or in connection with other arrangement-related activities.
Participation is at your own risk. Sailstar is also not responsible for damage caused by weather, sea conditions, technical failure of boat or equipment, or other circumstances beyond Sailstar's control.
Sailstar cannot be held liable for damages caused by participants to each other, third parties or other property during the event. Such liability falls solely on the individual participant and shall be covered by his/her liability insurance.
Guests are requested to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of the experience. Upon arrival to the experience, you should be able to document your booking via your ticket or booking confirmation.
Personal data
When purchasing an experience on Sailstar, we need the following information:

For courses with large boats, mainly in Greece, we also need a copy of your passport for a crewlist.
We register your personal data in order to deliver the goods to you. We ask for your phone number in order to be able to provide you with good service if something unforeseen happens upon delivery of your order confirmation, upon delivery of gift box or on the day of your experience.
The personal data is registered with Sailstar and stored for five years, after which the data is deleted. If you have used your experience in the meantime, we will delete most of your data 30 days after the completion of the experience or redemption of your experience certificate from the experience controller. We must continue to store names and addresses for five years according to the Accounting Act. When personal data is collected through our website, we ensure that it is always done with your explicit consent, so that you are informed about what data is being collected and why.
We do not store and transmit customer data encrypted. Information provided to Sailstar is not passed on or sold, and we do not record any sensitive personal data. As a registered customer of Sailstar, you always have the right to object to the registration and you have the right to gain insight into what data is registered about you. You have these rights according to the PUL and requests in connection with this are directed to Sailstar by e-mail.
In connection with purchases, identity and transaction data are stored in accordance with applicable legislation.
If your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
